My youngest daughter Frida, aged three, has had a really high fever and heavy cold for two days now.
She has spent most of that time on the sofa or in bed, with me for some of the time, with her Papa for some of the time, but always with her favourite toy Nibbles.
I asked her earlier:
“Do you want some food?” “No.”
“A drink?” “No.”
“Some medicine?” “No.”
“A book?” “No.”
“Do you want anything?”
To which she replied, “I only want a cuddle from Mama and Nibbles.”
