But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads?

Travelling through the Great Rift Valley in Kenya en route from Nairobi to Mwanza, I woke early to see this amazing sunrise.

Just then I had one of those moments when you feel entirely content and at one with everything in the world – a feeling pure harmony.

“But what is happiness except the simple harmony between a man and the life he leads?” Albert Camus

As before, am no longer able to post comment via the methods offered ! But wanted to say, there is nothing quite like an African sky – always beautiful no matter what time of day or weather conditions. Quentin and Laura went to Maasai Mara in October. He has a photographic web site( quentincurran.smugmug.com) you may find interesting, with plenty of sky from that trip, with some wild life thrown in for good measure, of course! Hi Ann. Your comment is showing up… so maybe there was a delay! (We are out in the sticks here, then I used to think I was out in the sticks in Baldock!). I have seen Quentin’s photos and his website, and he has some absolutely amazing photos. Haven’t seen the African ones, well only a few, so I will make sure to have a look. Thanks again. Ali x
