My family and I are in the process of relocating from Tanzania to neighbouring Kenya; so as one East African adventure closes, another begins.
Although I may have physically left Tanzania, I am still keeping my memories alive by finishing off drawings in my sketchbooks. These sketches will go towards bigger art projects, involving acrylic paints, oil paints and textiles.
But for now, here are some of my recently finished sketches of one of my favourite artistic topics, street markets.

Sketch of a road side market in Dar Es Salaam

The fish market sketch is lovely, it would make a great book illustration! And the Central market one is also very striking. Good luck and happy sketching in Kenya!
